The New Everol 12/20

In December of 2000, Everol USA began working with Tiburon Engineering of Santa Monica, CA to modify some of our existing reels to make them better suited for the "West Coast" style of angling.

The first completed reel from this collaborative effort is the Super 12/20.  Everol has taken the stock 12/20 and turned a great little reel into an awesome high performance reel designed to be super smooth yet tough enough to fish 40 or even 50lb spectra on. This reel is about the same size as an International 12, but that's where any comparison between the two reels ends.

The Super 12/20 can get 20-24lb of drag (the drag system has not changed) out of the box which makes it perfectly capable of fishing the heavier braided line.  On the West Coast having a great drag won't do you much good if you can't get your bait to where the action is, and the Super 12/20 has excellent freespool (the stout Tiburon frame and the addition of high speed, ABEC #5 bearings facilitate this), which makes the reel perfect for casting a wahoo bomb or fly lining a light live bait.

Everol has upgraded this reel while keeping it affordable, considerably less than a 12T that won't touch this reel in performance!!   Every Everol reel comes with a 2 year warranty!
