T-BAR MK-II
ARTICULATED REEL HANDLE
Area Rule Engineering, Inc. San Clemente, CA. Proudly announces it has been granted a US Patent on its revolutionary articulated reel handle assembly. Trade marked as the T-Bar and more recently the MK II T-Bar, this ergonomically designed reel handle allows the angler to produce more power when cranking on Big Fish.
According to Brooks Morris, President and CEO of Area Rule and the inventor of the T-Bar, the angled or articulated handle is set at an 18 degree tilt which provides natural alignment of the hand, wrist, forearm and upper arm bone and muscle groups. This allows maximum force for cranking with minimum fatigue. Arguably it also reduces stress on the fish since quicker releases have a profound impact on survival.
T-Bars have gained acceptance with "Long Rangers" as the handle of choice for fighting giant yellowfin and top skippers in Hawaii and Australia are just as enthusiastic.
